They say everything is bigger in Texas but no one ever thought that the babies were included in the list.

Ali James Medlock was the heaviest baby ever born at Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital near Dallas.

He weighed in at a whopping 14 pounds, 13 ounces, and all that was missing was a large shake.

The doctor who delivered him said Ali was the heaviest baby he’s ever brought into the world.

And this doctor has more than 30 years in his career now.

Jennifer and husband Eric Medlock expected Ali to weigh in around the 10-pound mark.

Nope.

Ali measured 21.5 inches at birth, shocking his parents, both music teachers who now had to face the music.

Jennifer had to undergo a C-section, previously giving birth to her daughter Annabelle in the same way.

Afterwards, Ali was taken to the hospital’s neonatal intensive care unit.

The big baby boy had low blood sugar and platelet levels, all caused by his larger than average size.

Talk about packing the calories.

“We did not expect 14 pounds,” the proud mom said. “Nobody did.”

Ali recovered immediately and was released from the hospital.

“It doesn’t matter how big he is.” the new mom of two said. “I’m so blessed.”

Mom and dad better start investing in a bigger refrigerator.

Just look at the size of baby Ali. Even the screen shows you just how massive he is for a newborn.

He’s probably double the size of an average newborn!

“Aw that cute baby boy, that mom is strong for giving birth to that 14 pound of handsomeness and adorableness. God bless those parents and their newest addition to the family.” commented a viewer.

That’s a workout!

Big sister Annabelle weighed 9 pounds 10 ounces at birth so Jennifer and Eric were expecting a bigger than average baby.

But not a boy that could knock down bowling pins!

Jennifer has severe polycystic ovarian syndrome, and doctors did tell them that having a family would be challenging.

That’s a hormonal disorder that makes having kids difficult.

But the couple tried and look what the poor, overworked stork got them.

Annabelle was born through the help of fertility treatments.

So Jennifer really planned to start that process again when the couple learned that she was pregnant with Ali.

She loves proving people wrong, so there they go with a boy that has many others speculating just how big he’ll be in a few years.

Ali looks ripe for football or wrestling, but mom and dad are musicians so perhaps this boy’s got the big notes in him.

He can alter soundwaves for sure!

For now, Ali will get all the love and cuddles he needs, plus gallons of milk for sure.

Big sister Annabelle’s got a little brother to watch out for, and as for mom and dad, the family is now complete.

Like the perfect composition they’ve always wanted to play.
