This is just downright funny – but, you know, they actually are all good dancers.

If you’re brave enough to enter the school talent show, it’s important to put a lot of effort into your act. After all, the event usually takes place in front of teachers, parents, and a sea of your fellow classmates (gulp). Hours of practice can go into it for a result that you can only hope will bring lots of laughs and memories.

This type of nerve-wracking situation certainly isn’t for everyone. However, for those who are able to pull off an awesome talent show act, it can lead to unforgettable results that will be remembered for years to come.

One epic performance that had everyone going wild took place in Norman, Oklahoma. It all started when a bunch of fifth-grade boys made their way onto the stage wearing jerseys and skirts.

The group begins by lip-syncing and throwing their “hands up” during the song, “All I Do Is Win.” As they wave their arms up and down it seems to get the energy in the room pumping. But little did anyone know, they had some surprises up their sleeves…

Out of nowhere, the track switches over to Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It).”

Now, you might have a good image of Queen Bey dancing to the song. What you might not have ever seen though, is seven fifth-grade boys trying to bust out some “Single Ladies” moves!

The crowd bursts into laughter watching the group on stage. It’s not just a dance and lip-syncing performance, there’s apparently a comical twist as well!

Interestingly, Beyoncé brought home three Grammy Awards for her girl-power anthem “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It).” One of the Grammys was for “Song Of The Year.”

Who’s ready to party?

Turns out, their talent show act is a mash-up of songs, each with its own set of dance moves. After they boogie to Beyoncé, Miley Cyrus’ hit “Party in the USA” comes blasting into the auditorium. When the boys shake their hips no one can hold back.

Since it’s a group of tween boys, of course, there’s some dabbing too.

According to the video description – Jenkins, Cale, Dennon, Tias, Cole, Liam, and Skyler were students at Jackson Elementary. It was filmed in 2016, so naturally, the boys couldn’t resist getting down to “Lean and Dabb.”

Moments later it takes another hilarious turn.

The fifth-graders jump up when Meghan Trainor’s pop tune “NO” comes on. Understandably, their classmates go crazy when they pretend they’re ballerinas and twirl.

Let’s just say that these youngsters have a lot of guts.

At one point, the performance shifts a bit with a slower song. The boys split into groups and show off a more “romantic” side. They pick each other up, spin, and dance in pairs. Of course, the audience can’t keep it together!

It’s not easy getting up in front of a room of people in the first place. While some could have been shaking in their boots – you gotta give it to the dancing boys, each one of them followed through.

Every act needs a good ending. For these guys, they wrap theirs up with some “Bye Bye Bye.”

The room explodes with applause at the end of the talent show performance (which has gotta make a kid feel good). In addition to that, the video’s been viewed more than four million times on YouTube since 2016. Bravo, boys!

There’s no doubt these students put a lot of time and effort into learning their routine. Although we don’t know if they “won” or not – they certainly made a splash!
