Music is in Sydney Foye’s blood.
Her father, Aaron Foye, is a musician and it would seem that she has inherited the music bug from her dad. Sydney was not even a year old, only eight months, when she started to show off her dancing skills. She could feel the beat in her soul and could not help by dance it out.
Sydney was only eight months and had just started to learn how to crawl and move around on her own. As she was learning to move on her own, she surprised her parents by showing off her rock moves. Her father, Aaron Foye, was singing and playing his guitar when Sydney crawled over and pulled herself up by his guitar.
She wanted a front row seat to her living room concert.
If Sydney’s parents thought all she was going to do was stand next to her dad as he played, they were in for a very big surprise.
Sydney started to rock out with her father with some old fashioned head banging. She felt the beat in her body and had to move along with it. Sydney even tries her best to be her dad’s back up singer with her own vocals too. She has the moves down but she has to learn to speak before she can sing the words, until then she will scream along.
Sydney is dancing before walking, so she might start singing before she talks.
Many babies will do something cute, like dance to their father singing, but then stop before it could be videotaped. This was not one of those times for the Foye family. Sydney had started to rock with her father and Sydney’s mother, Lauren Foye, was able to record the adorable dancing. The Foye’s posted the video on YouTube and their dancing daughter went viral.
The Foye’s, including adorable Sydney, were interviewed by on CBS’ Early Show, almost two years later. The internet can make a video go viral years after the fact and Sydney’s dancing was one of those videos. Sydney was two when she was interviewed with her parents and she still cannot stop herself from moving to the beat.
Sydney dances and sings throughout the interview without anyone asking, she still has the music bug.
Aaron Foye is a musician that works alongside Willie Nelson. Sydney’s entire life, no matter how short it has been, has been surrounded around music. She attends her father’s shows and can be seen backstage with her headphones on and dancing along to the beat.
This adorable baby is destined to a musical life and she does not seem a drop upset about it.
Aaron might work alongside Willie Nelson but Sydney’s parents state that classic rock is still Sydney’s favorite kind of music. Aaron and Lauren also talk about Sydney’s love of instruments too. She is going to start learning instruments, with the piano being first. Don’t worry, she will learn how to play the guitar too.
“We have watched the video at least 100 times and we still crack up,” Lauren Foye admits.
You do not have to be Sydney’s mother to want to watch this video over and over and still find it cute.
