Dancing does not know age, especially for the Scottish.

While the Scots are used to dancing during big celebrations, this wedding has a Scottish dancer that comes in a wee package.

The wee lad named Ryan attended a wedding in Glasgow, and it was pretty obvious that he has a bit of a liking to the music and the revelry.

Scots can make any celebration into an excuse to dance.

Big village gatherings are some of the most common ways to get the feet moving, but weddings, especially kilted weddings, would almost always get a fair share of festive dancing.

In the introduction of his 1917 book Wonder Tales from Scottish Myth and Legend, Donald McKenzie explained the origins of this celebratory tradition. “Ceilidh”, pronounced as ‘kay-lee’, are social gatherings where the Scottish people share tales and legends to give life to their ancient beliefs, and where they sing songs that usually start a gathering of dancers.

So it’s not much of a surprise if this wee little performer has a bit of a dancer hiding inside himself.

All it took was a little bit of merriment, clapping from the crowd, and a healthy dose of music to make him stand on his feet.

Little Ryan seemed a bit perplexed about why he is here, but with the festive music playing in the background, his body seemed to have no choice but to follow the feeling.

Clad in a small kilt that’s most likely didn’t take too much tartan cloth to make, he starts with some basic moves of hand flapping.

As young as he is, he knows that weddings are important events, and thus he wears a complete set of highland garbs, complete with a sporran (the little bag in front), hose flashes (the ribbon around his socks), and his cute little bowtie.

At first, the people on his table didn’t seem to notice that there’s a little show happening just in front of them but at chair height.

Eventually, one of the guests started filming this little dancer, especially when he used much more advanced moves like body swings and head bobs.

Then, he mixes everything up when he adds the hand flapping that he was doing from the start.

The guests were beyond thrilled with this adorable performance. They started clapping in rhythm to encourage the little tyke to press on his solitary merriment, but his reaction was just the same – he’s still a bit perplexed on why he’s here.

But the music is good so why not continue dancing.

As the music and his dancing carried on like the revelries for that night, a small crowd began to gather around his small spot by the chair.

People started pulling out their phones and cameras just so they can capture this adorable moment.

You can take a Scot out of a party, but you can’t take the party out of a Scot.
