Fitness buffs really enjoy working out for the camera then posting it online for the world to see.
Part inspiration, part motivation, and part vanity are what keep these workout vloggers moving. But this is life and things don’t always workout the way they want it to.
Just ask this fitness mom. Her fitness video featured her working on her slim figure until someone else stole the spotlight.
That someone is her adorable baby girl!
This tiny one’s got impressive moves for someone who’s barely over a year old.
Mom’s got that core engaged, trying to shed more calories for that awesome shape when her tot decided she wanted the attention.
Check out her bop bop and shake though!
Even mom had to stop and watch her daughter.
Her workout? Paused. She just giggles as her baby wiggles in front of her camera.
One of the viewers said,
“She was precious! I love how she turned her head at one point to look at her mom. She could see her mother responding in a positive way. Awesome and adorable –thank you for sharing this, it made me smile!”
That pause and squat though!
Babies do love music, as a matter of fact. It’s like they were programmed at the baby factory to respond to tunes. When the stork delivers your little one, he/she will be begging to move to the rhythm.
What To Expect has this to say.
“At around 14 months, your dancing queen may make her first foray into toddler dancing by bobbing up and down, with her feet planted on the floor, whenever she hears a jazzy tune or just your own singing voice. Between 17 and 18 months, your pint-sized performer may start trying out some more complicated choreography, including moving from side to side and turning in circles. As she gets more coordinated around age two, her arms will get more involved in the act.”
So you see, it’s like a progression of sorts for the tiny one.
The best part is when she looks directly in to the camera with her silly expressions before looking back at mom who just gives her daughter the sweetest smile only a mom could muster.
You know what else we’d like to see? Dad in the gym, lifting weights with this little baby girl in tow. Who knows what she’ll come up with?
Dr Marcel Zentner, from the University of York’s Department of Psychology had this to say regarding dancing infants,
“Our research suggests that it is the beat rather than other features of the music, such as the melody, that produces the response in infants. We also found that the better the children were able to synchronize their movements with the music the more they smiled.”
You know what it is? It’s mom.
She encourages her little one to dance like no one’s watching. To dance in front of the camera for the world to see. Because life’s music never stops playing.
