As many art forms as there are out there, it is music that seems to have the unifying power regardless of creed or race. There are a multitude of genres and disciplines that reach out to all corners of the globe. There is music everywhere, all the time. From the moment we wake up, all the rest of the day, up until we sleep and even in the dark, early hours of the morning.
Music has no limits.
Not even age can stop this powerful force. Even newborns respond to music. This toddler in particular seems to have found a fondness for it. To say he was moved by it is an understatement.
It happened during a Juliette and Ella’s Playdate. Started by friends, Sarah and Maegan, where they united their love for music and kids, they started this wonderful community of teaching kids wile letting the children interact with each other.
At a FunFit NYC event, violinist Laura Zawarski gave the kids a little performance but I doubt she expected this little boy to react the way he did.
Laura is a New York based actor and musician.
She started at fourteen learning violin and is a Russian major. She has toured and performed everywhere, always on the look out for new projects and opportunities as well as perfecting her craft.
She may have performed in front of sold out crowds and been featured on many shows over her amazing career but has she ever had a toddler make his way towards her and sit at her feet just to listen to her playing? Nope. Until now.
Just look as Laura plays the Elvis classic “Can’t help falling in love”. The little guy gets up on his short legs and toddles over to Laura, looking up at her in wonder at the lovely sound he’s hearing. He is mesmerized!
Imagine, a song from 1961 is able to capture the senses of this little human.
The tiny boy stands there transfixed just gazing up at Laura as she plays with a smile on her face. Of all the fans she’s met, we’re willing to bet this little boy is a new favorite. Look how cute he is!
In fact, he loves Laura and her playing so much he goes and hugs her leg!
Laura lets out a laugh without breaking her stride. She’s a true professional even though a tiny distraction is happening. Bet you she’s falling in love with this kid right at the moment.
One viewer said,
“The way he just looks up at her in pure awe he barely even moves until he hugs her omg. My heart!”
The tot’s legs may have gotten tired. He lets go and sits on the floor with his tiny romp, still fixing his gaze up at the lady with the violin. He really knows his stuff. Great taste, little guy!
If he is, say one or two years old, then this boy may just be a future virtuoso. Other kids preferred to play around while the music went on but he immediately responded to the melody. And Laura may have been the catalyst. Watch out for this kid!
See how this adorable boy makes the effort to appreciate Laura’s music in the video below!
