If there’s one thing that dogs would rather live without, it’s your trusty vacuum cleaner.
But in this case, this reliable canine buddy became the unexpected protector from the household threat when this toddler was just as scared.
In this adorable video that has been watched for over a whopping 110 million times, an adorable curly-haired baby was forced to face the unexpected.
Being this young, he definitely didn’t have much experience with the horrors brought about by appliances.
With his little tippy tappy steps, he first approached the machine, curious about what it does. If his parents are using it, then it must be some kind of a friend, right? Well, the intuitive exploration quickly became a total scare-fest when the vacuum cleaner whirred to life.
It drowned the hallway with its noisy buzzing sound, which sent the kid running for dear life.
He did not hesitate as he took to the opposite direction and ran towards the most unlikely ally in this fight against the machine. Sitting on the corner of the hallway is the family’s Siberian husky, cautiously watching what ill deeds this vacuum monster is about to unleash on him and his best friend.
It was so adorable when the baby wrapped his little arms around his furry best friend and it only showed how close he is to their dog.
This would’ve been the point where the dog would get riled up and bolt away from the vacuum cleaner. But instead, this good boy stood his ground, or his corner, and didn’t intend to leave his baby human all alone with this bad machine.
Dogs and babies are generally scared of vacuum cleaners because they are loud, big, and unexpected. These pieces of appliance are usually hidden in closets and are only brought out when it’s cleaning time. All of a sudden, this intruder would hog up the entire space and would not budge when barked at.
These disruptive machines can bring the biggest of dogs into attack mode or just scare them enough to send them running.
Unfortunately for our canine friends, vacuum cleaners are some kind of a “necessary evil” that they just have to live with.
But fortunately for our little guy, his best friend has no plans of abandoning him to his household nemesis.
Still snuggling the husky close, the little baby checks if the vacuum cleaner is up to no good. They both watched carefully as the noise machine quiets down. It is the only moment where the baby feels safe that he lets their dog go for a short moment.
He takes some unsure and wobbly steps towards their enemy, but he’s learned his lesson now – never trust the machine that daddy hides in the closet. So he turns back to the only friend he has during this moment and stays close to him until the end of the video.
