When it comes to parent-toddler videos, it’s usually the kids that leave us laughing out loud. That is unless you’re this dad, who dances on camera without realizing that his daughter is recording a video for her first-grade teacher.

When Issac Jones began a goofy dance routine for his 6-year-old daughter, Delaney, he never imagined millions of people would see it…including her first-grade teacher
Ever since the pandemic hit, parents have been forced to learn all about the tech responsibilities that come with Zoom classes and other online schooling assignments/formats. For some quirky parents like Issac, it opened the door to accidentally go viral with his hilarious shenanigans.
The Jones’ are from Beaverton, Oregon, and sweet Delaney likes to send her first-grade teachers impromptu videos of herself to keep them up to date in her life. In this video, she’s giving them an arts and crafts tutorial, but her dad has no idea she’s making a video for her teachers.
Kids Bop’s version of “Uptown Funk” plays in the background, and Issac doesn’t hold back
It starts off with Issac flailing his arms in the background, pop-and-locking, and doing some all-around awkward dance moves. From there, it progresses into a full-blown dance session with hysterical sounds to go along with it.
Live from his kitchen, Issac swings for the fences, and by the lack of reaction from Delaney, we’re guessing he does this all the time. When Delaney’s brothers see their dad busting a move, they decide it would be fun to get in on the action.
Both of Delaney’s brothers get in on the action, prompting her to jokingly say: “what’s wrong with this family?”
Delaney doesn’t let her family get in the way of her “quiet arts and crafts,” she continues creating her project while Issac picks toddler, Teddy, up and waves him around over his head. Delany’s older brother, Hunt, doesn’t want to miss out on the fun and also begins dancing in the video.
At the end of the video, Issac disappears for a second before he reappears making funny noises with Teddy still in his arms for some hilarious closeups. After the video is done, Delaney sent it off to her teachers with her family completely unaware.
It wasn’t until Delaney’s mom, Jennifer, logged in to monitor her school work that Issac realized what he had done
When Jennifer went on the app they use to monitor her daughter’s school activity, she came across the hilarious video and absolutely lost it with laughter.

“As I continued to watch, I was laughing so hard tears were streaming,” Jennifer told Good Morning America.
Jennifer knew she had to share this with the world, so she uploaded it to Facebook where it spread like wildfire
Millions of people found themselves cracking up at the dad’s spunky dance moves, and dads all over related to the fun moments Issac was creating for his family.
This is seriously one of the funniest videos I’ve seen in a long time, his funny antics had me streaming tears from laughter. Issac’s light-hearted dance moves have touched so many people and should be an example for other dads to create memories and have some fun with their children.
Maybe just make sure they’re not sending the video to their teachers, or do, it worked out well for the Jones family.
