Most new moms and dads avoid using a babysitter. If available, they’ll turn to grandma or grandpa. But if just one parent needs to run errands, child care responsibilities fall back on the other parent. Not a problem, right? Well, not usually.
Happy and safe
When it comes time to leave a small child with someone, the only two things moms and dads worry about are their baby’s happiness and safety. So, they don’t turn this job over to just anyone. After all, this is their precious child.
Dad to the rescue
One mom needed to leave the house for a little bit. Since the dad was home, he’d look after the baby. Considering he’d been an incredible father since the day their daughter was born, she didn’t have any concerns.
A different kind of babysitting
Even at just four months old, this mom trusted her husband completely. The only thing was this dad wanted to have fun while babysitting. Since he and his daughter love to dance, he came up with an idea…make a video. But of course, they had to dress up first.
Let’s do hip-hop
The dad wore bright green sunglasses. He then put a pink pair on his daughter, along with an adorable pink bow in what little hair she had. Then, he strapped her into the carrier, and together, they stood in front of a mirror. In the background, hip-hop music starts to play.
Dancing to the beat
In perfect timing to the music, the two begin to “dance.” This baby might be young but it appears she’s having a blast. If you watch closely, you see a little grin on her face. She even kicks her feet up as if trying to do some fancy footwork.
Bouncing away
As the two of them bounce up and down, the little girl’s bow flops around. The more they dance the happier she becomes. Taking hold of her tiny hands, this dad tries to help her get her groove on.
Going with the flow
The dad keeps bopping around with the little girl in tow. But she doesn’t mind. They do some moves across the table before he raises her hands in the air.
Get those legs moving
Next, this dad holds onto the baby’s legs so she can really get down to the music. You have to wonder what this girl was thinking. According to both the mom and dad, the two of them dance a lot. It’s kind of their thing.
Fun and good exercise
The dad is having so much fun. As for the baby, this is a great way to strengthen her arms and legs. So, it’s a win-win situation. Not only that, but they’re enjoying some special bonding time.
Mom’s opinion?
We have no idea. But after watching the video that this dad posted online, we’re pretty sure she thought it was cool. Perhaps more dads should try dancing with their babies. Even experts agree that it’s important for fathers to start bonding with their daughters while still infants.
