These kids are in for an unexpected performance when they started dancing to “Watch Me”.
A father from Monroe County, Mississippi “video-bombed” his two daughters when they were vibing to that year’s latest dance craze. The unsuspecting girls don’t know it yet but their special guest will take the internet by storm.
In the video, father of two Mike Jones sneaks into the kitchen where his two daughters are taking their positions. As the girls prepared for their video performance, Mike could be seen putting his finger over his lips, telling his mother to keep quiet.
As the music begins, all three of them jived to the famous dance routine but one from the trio stood out – the surprise guest.
Jones whipped out some mad moves that were more than enough to upstage his kids. He did the moves in full confidence and swag that it’s hard to believe that he never practiced the moves beforehand.
Through the middle of the performance, even if the kids were turning to the side, they still failed to see their special guest through their peripheral vision.
Too bad for them though because Jones just kept on shaking what his mama gave him.
Jone shared with the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal that this is not the first time her daughters did a creative project together. Dance videos were common in their household so when he heard them prepare for another performance, he just felt the need to flaunt his amazing moves.
By the time his daughters noticed his presence, his mom was already caught him shaking his behind.
He told the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal:
“We watched it and said it would be funny to share this for friends and family, but now it’s funny for people all over the world.”
Terry Blaylock caught this hilariously amazing moment and posted it on Facebook and YouTube.
Since then, the video has amassed a whopping 21 million views on Facebook and 12.8 million views on YouTube.
He even thought that his daughters would get mad at him for ruining the video but once they posted it, friends and family were messaging them saying that they saw them on the internet.
This viral dad is not alone though. Other dads from the internet have been video-bombing their kids’ videos, showing everyone the random joys of parenting.
This dad also joined his stepdaughters in their own “Whip It” performance, while this dad casually dances while his daughter is busy squeezing some glittery glue on her art project.
As for Jones and his daughters, their viral video had the whole world laughing. Some of the comments even insisted that they should be featured in talk shows so they can tell the story behind their spontaneous performance.
Being a parent poses its own challenges but that doesn’t mean you’d have to lose your sense of childlike humor, craving for fun, and the dance moves you’ve been hiding since you got drunk in college.
