Children tend to have difficulty adapting to new situations or environments. The same is the case with entering Pre-K.

The child’s formative years are critical, that’s why parents spend more time in these years teaching the kids different lessons in life. May it be respecting one another, or lending a helping hand.

The main goal is to strengthen the bond and relationship between parents and their kids.

This also helps the child get settled through routines you both do at the same time.

This will incorporate the changes that they are facing and let them cope with them more easily.

In an interview, Luca’s dad shared that “Luca is very routine-oriented. “

“And when he’s about to do something new, that is an uncomfortable piece for him. So, we sort of made a couple of different stops on the way to school just to ease his way into it one of those stops being at this coffee shop that was right around the corner from us.”

He then added,

“We actually don’t even need to make the order anymore they have my you know large cold brew what they call a baby Chino which was just steamed milk and like a little to-go coffee cup how that we do it I can’t imagine not doing it my daughter goes to Pre-K three next year so I’ll have two of them to do it with so maybe it’ll take on a new life.”

One thing to consider though, when planning for activities, it is best that both the parent and the child will enjoy the day.

This will be most crucial if you have teenage kids as they won’t go to any outings or gatherings again if they had negatively impacted their well-being.
