Everyone knows parenting is not an easy task. A lot goes into parenting, and most would agree it’s probably the hardest job, but it definitely has some funny moments. In this video, we see Jordan Watson, most commonly known as How to Dad, teach his adorable two-year-old, Nala, how to sing all genres of music, and this little girl steals the show.
Who is How to Dad, and how did he get started making fun parenting videos?
Jordan Watson rose to internet fame when he made a hilarious video for a coworker who had a baby on the way. When his partner left him with their two kids, which one was four months old during the time, he decided to film his iconic video, “How to Hold a Baby,” and upload it on the internet.
Whenever Jordan woke up in the morning, he says the notifications just began to pop in, leading to the video having 2.6 million views. He decided to make more fun tutorials, and the rest is history! He now has three adorable little girls, and in this video, we see the youngest make her mark.
His FaceBook page has a million followers, and he has two books dedicated to How to Dad, and they’re just as cute as his videos. His wife supports the videos wholeheartedly, but would rather stay off-screen, which is entirely understandable!

When Jordan introduces his youngest daughter, Nala, she responds with an adorable hello to the camera, and you can tell looks up to her daddy. He starts her off with the fundamentals of music, singing notes throughout the octaves, and having her mimic them. Not only does she emulate the notes in her own, perfect way, but she even mimics the motions of her father!
It’s obvious this isn’t technically a real music lesson, but it’s still so darling to see them practice this together. After learning the notes and pitches, they move on to singing through the genres. They start with pop, and Nala does a fantastic reflection of her dad.
Then comes R&B, and Beyoncé better watch out because this delightful two-year-old is giving her a run for her money. They proceed to try opera, which she nails, country, rock, death metal, which it seems like she loved doing that one and she’s got a natural talent for it. They finish with classical, which she does beautifully, hip-hop, and finally back to R&B.

You can tell this is one close-knit family, and that’s what makes How to Dad such a great family YouTube channel to watch. There are many other videos of all the kids participating in fun things that the dad helps them do. Jordan’s goal is to show that even though parenting can be extremely difficult, the good moments outshine the bad.
