Kids somehow are experts at making us laugh, even if a laugh isn’t their end goal.
With their tiny statures and curious minds, these little tikes know just how to give us a good chuckle in the most surprising of ways.
When children say something completely off the beaten track, which they do quite frequently, they are just too innocent to warrant any serious repercussions. Hey, you’ve got to learn and grow somehow.
More often than not, kids are proud to show off their parents’ accomplishments.
This is exactly what one young girl does when talking to her teacher, only it’s not something her parents are actually doing…
One little girl tells her school teacher that her parents are growing weed behind their home.
“My daddy is a doctor!” “My mommy is so beautiful!” “Weed? Oh, my parents have tons!” This girl was probably ecstatic telling her teacher about her parents’ plethora of the green goods.
While trying to clear up the previous day’s confusion, the video begins with the dad asking his daughter what she told her teacher at school that day.
Apparently, the young girl recognizes that weed is not good for you, but she still thinks that dad is growing weed in their backyard.
She’s so convinced that dad is growing weed, that she walks him outside to point out all the ‘weed’ in their yard.
Secrets don’t make friends, so she did the right thing by letting the world in on the family secret. Only, it’s not weed out there, but actual weeds.
Although kids often try their best to be honest, they sometimes get a bit confused with what exactly they are talking about. This girl, however, isn’t confused.
She is spot-on with the weed comment. Only, it’s not that kind.
I think it’s safe to assume that most families will probably have weeds growing in their yards at some point, but we can only hope that the children don’t run off to school saying “we have a lot of weed in our house.”
Apparently, the teacher told dad “I hear you’re growing weed at home.”
By that comment, the teacher doesn’t seem mad to hear this. Instead, she’s probably more amused than anything. We can only hope it’s legal in whatever state this family is in.
What I’m most curious about is how did the subject of weed get brought up at this girl’s elementary school. Were they having a lesson on botany or drugs?
When dad asks the girl what the family will do with all of the weed, she says “We will get it out and throw it to another place.”
It’s clear why the teacher may have been a tad confused by all of this, but dad doesn’t seem upset that his daughter is telling the community about their yard full of weed.
Dad’s just looking to set the facts straight.
This dad definitely doesn’t need his daughter’s elementary school teacher thinking he’s showing up to every parent-teacher conference slightly stoned.
This girl is one smart cookie.
It may not be that weed, but she’s right that weeds are growing on their property. At least, she’s being honest!
We can only hope that the other boys and girls didn’t hear her say this.
