Crawling babies are super cute. They typically start from six to ten months old. That familiar rocking back and forth on all fours looks to be something between a push up and a belly flop! Let them roll on those round tummies!

Babies need to muscle that big round head up when they do. It’s a great way to strengthen and develop the neck, shoulders, arms, and back. When those legs move, it works the muscles in the lower body. It’s legit bodybuilding.

This baby girl is discovering the joys of crawling. And who better to support her than her best friend? This eight year old female chocolate Labrador Retriever has taken the role of motivator for this lesson. She’s a very patient coach.

This well behaved canine is well trained and has been around people since she was a puppy. She knows a multitude of voice commands and is a very balanced, well rounded dog just perfect for a family. Having a dog around with a baby has benefits but precautions are always in order.

Consult with your pediatrician regarding your baby’s health and if it’s a good idea to have the dog around, and of course, talk to the veterinarian. It is an animal no matter how cute they may be. This family got it right.

She goes to Michael Jordan’s trademark, sticking her tongue out in determination. This tiny bright eyed baby is making great progress by using her knees and thighs to push herself forward, inching even closer to her furry friend. Go on!

After a few happy gurgles, she finally makes it! What does she get in return for her efforts? A sweet, sticky Labrador kiss!

Labradors may be known for having lots of energy, after all they were bred to be working companions. They require lots of exercise but this good girl here maintains her composure just waiting for her human friend to come closer. They really are a gentle breed!
