You bet it can. You see, this dynamic duo are actually a father and daughter team. Guarantee you’ll be smiling and tapping along.

There are tons of musical families out there. You have The Jacksons, which helped rocket Michael and Janet’s careers. Of course The Bee Gees. Then The Osmonds naturally. Some artists are lucky enough to pass on their talents to the kids. Miley Cyrus anyone? Then there’s Natalie Cole, daughter of the legendary Nat King Cole.

Martin Pyrker is a renowned pianist from Vienna. Born August 27, 1954, the young Martin discovered his love for music and the piano at the age of 17 during which he was already a drummer after discovering the blues.

He became fascinated with Boogie Woogie which led him to playing in concerts in the 1970s with other fellow pianists he had come to know. Martin had a literal hand in Austria’s first Boogie Woogie album, Boogie Woogie session ’76, which led to the rise of the genre in Austria and Germany.

Pyrker has performed for both his home crowd and international audiences, delighting them with solo acts and collaborations with other artists. He also has over 100 original compositions which is to say that the man is a musical genius.

So when did Martin and his daughter start playing together? The year was 1999. Little Sabine Pyrker began to study the piano at the age of seven. That household was all about music. Two years later, she picked up the drumsticks and took off from there.

Sabine has developed her own career and is clearly paving a path for herself.

This is just one of their many awesome performances together. Called “Karina’s Boogie Woogie”, dad’s masterful strokes on the piano produce such an upbeat melody which got even better when Sabine began blending in with her drumming.

Oh and dad let her have a solo too. A really long, kick ass solo on the drums to showcase her skills. Play it, Sabine! She had the whole audience stunned with her rhythmic drumming. Crazy skills!

And when dad finally got back into it, he’s got a smile on his face.

This comment says it all,

“THE MOST FANTASTIC FATHER DAUGHTER BOOGIE WOOGIE I HAVE EVER HEARD…..SABINE ON THE DRUMS IS SUPERB,,,,EXTREMELY TALENTED AND DAD IS PROUD”

All caps for emphasis. Because what was impressive about that was how Sabine just looked so calm. Really calm in fact. Just a small smile to show the world that she’s a force to be reckoned with.

Are they talented? No, really. This dad and daughter duo should have had you smiling by now. Bet you you’ll watch it again too.
