Parents get a kick out of recording their kid’s antics. It comes with the job. Moms and dads work themselves to exhaustion to raise and provide for the kids, so might as well have fun at their expense.
Kids are silly. They do the funniest things every now and then and thanks to modern technology, we get to laugh along with them.
Take for instance this dad and his daughter.
She’s out cleaning the pool but to a little girl her age, that pool would really seem huge. To pass the time while cleaning, this little lady decided to sing. Except she forgot that she was out in public.
So dad whips out the camera and starts recording his princess as she sang her lungs out.
To the tune of Alicia Keys’ “Girl on Fire“, young Anni Coverly handles the leaf rake with surprising expertise considering it’s way longer than she is. Maybe she’s cleaning for a few dollars in her pocket?
Daddy Tom sneaks his way closer until he’s satisfied with the angle where he focuses his camera on the girl by the pool singing her heart out like there’s no tomorrow. She’s not bad!
A viewer named Alexandra said,
“The fact that she is enjoying doing her chore and belt in tune is priceless!”
That’s because Anni knows how to have fun at work!
She’s really feeling those lyrics too! Anni’s at the part that goes,
“She got both feet on the ground
And she’s burning it down
Oh oh oh oh oh, oh oh oh oh
She got her head in the clouds
And she’s not backing down”

Then Anni takes it up a notch. She plants the rake firmly, using the handle as her microphone, closes her eyes and just opens up, “This girl is on fire! She’s walking on fire!“
Her father, still in hiding, can’t help himself. Tom starts giggling to himself as he watches his daughter unleash her inner diva. That is until Anni turns and sees her father watching her with pride.
“Daddy!”
Goes the little star.
“Hi! You are the best singer, slash, pool cleaner, ever!”
Tom responds with so much love in his voice.
Anni thanks her father with a sheepish grin but Tom’s compliment got her smiling too. Good job praising his daughter with his affections. Kids do need to feel that their parents are supportive of them.
Even the viewers are all praises for this daddy and daughter moment.
“She wasn’t even embarrassed when she got caught. That was cute”
Says one while another went,
“I love that the dad supported her singing and didn’t make fun of her.”
It’s an adorable moment that’s made the rounds. This video’s got over 1.3 million views! Let’s hope little Anni keeps sharing her passion for singing with all of us. And someone tell Tom to keep recording.
