The video shows the first-time grandfather getting ready to put his sweet little angel to bed.
When it’s time to put the child in the crib, he carefully lifts her, aiming to gently lower her onto the mattress.
It’s a tricky task, requiring a delicate balance to avoid just dropping the child in.
But then, he makes a whoopsie.
As he leans over the crib’s railing, the grandfather doesn’t quite account for its height.
He ends up tipping over, resulting in a comical scene where he falls headfirst into the crib.
His phone even slips out of his pocket and begins flashing like a ‘help me’ signal.
Despite the mishap, the grandfather manages to fall as gracefully as possible, given the cramped space.
He’s careful not to accidentally hit his grandchild with any part of his body, showing his concern and love even in this awkward moment.
Now, we don’t know what the baby’s thinking, but surely she was chuckling underneath her pacifier.
After regaining his composure, the grandpa doesn’t forget his duties.
He ensures the baby has her bottle and is covered with a blanket before leaving the room.
Although he probably didn’t plan on telling anyone about his graceful crib fall, thankfully, it was all captured on the baby cam.
The reason for discovering the footage? His phone, which he left in the room after the fall.
