This is what this dad felt when he was surprised by his children.
He came from a long day of work and he was clearly exhausted. Little did he know that his kids prepared something that would make him tear up.
His son is part of the military and had been separated from them for a while.
And when they reunited, both of them were not able to contain their joy.
Thankfully, their touching reunion was filmed and later on uploaded on YouTube.
This is how it happened.
The dad met his children at a restaurant. And when he approached them, the tiredness on his face was noticeable.
His daughter asked how he was doing and he gave a short response. He said that he was “surviving.”
And after a few seconds, his son in military uniform appeared behind him and was so ready to give him the biggest hug.
When the father turned around, he saw his son and didn’t hesitate to lift him up as he excitedly embraced him.
Everyone got emotional.
Especially the dad and the son. They were both crying while hugging each other. Moreover, the people around them were screaming out of joy.
It was indeed a heartwarming moment.
No wonder why the video has gone viral on YouTube. It has already garnered a whopping 7.1 million views on the aforementioned video-sharing platform. In addition, it also went viral on TikTok.
Many people also reacted to the video and the majority of them expressed how it moved their hearts.
One commenter even put into words what the father felt when he saw his son.
