Hockey coach puts microphone on his 4-year-old son to hear what he's saying during practice
I seriously can't stop laughing 😂

Some kids say the darnest things. At the age of 4, kids are as chatty as can be. They think out loud and blurt out almost every thought that enters their head.

It’s a golden age to observe if you’re a parent. Some parents even badly want to preserve as many memories of it as they can, like this one here.

Jeremy Rupke, a hockey coach on social media, teaches his son how to play too.

Jeremy goes by “Coach Jeremy” on his socials. He travels and guides would-be hockey players into being the best they can be.

He also includes his son in a lot of his posts. One of this most popular uploads is this one.

Jeremy attached a small microphone in his son’s pocket while the 4-year-old joined one of his dad’s hockey practice sessions.

And anyone with kids knows how chatty a 4-year-old can be. They almost never stop talking.

Hockey is a pretty competitive sport too.

So it’ll be interesting to hear if 4-year-old Mason gets into the habit of trash-talking on the field.

I sure hope not!

Well, once Mason began talking, he started off with some enthusiasm about himself. He tried skating with both feet and made some progress.

When he realized he was making progress, the 4-year-old let out an adorable “I’m doing it!!” out on the ice.

Yeah, Mason is giving himself some much-needed pep talk.

When an attempt to accelerate with skates goes wrong, Mason falls over and utters “I’m OK. It’s OK.”

Jeremy is probably thinking that putting that mic in Mason’s uniform was a good idea. This stuff is high-quality entertainment and you cannot put a price on it.

Thank goodness it’s all free to watch on YouTube.

Probably one of the funniest things to have come out of young Mason’s mouth was when he fell trying to keep up with the others.

Mason falls over again, and grumbled as he tried to get back on his feet.

The feisty 4-year-old growled – yes, growled, in frustration. He followed that up with “Let me go, you old, fat can!”.

Wow, Mason. I hope whoever that was meant for didn’t hear that.

Well, too bad his dad recorded the whole thing and uploaded it to YouTube. I wonder if Jeremy ever gave him a mild scolding over that.

After several more minutes of frustration and falling over, Mason made his way to the group.

Despite the frustration in his voice, Mason does seem to be having fun. When he hears the whistle go off, he’s reluctant to leave.

“Time to go now? 15 more minutes and can be done and get a….a baby Happy meal” he says as he lays down on the ice.

Well, he sure had a lot of thoughts when he was out on the ice today. I wonder if he’ll continue to pursue hockey, and if he’ll still be this chatty on the field when he’s older.
