Stacey Godbold is a remarkable woman. She’s the CEO of a non-profit called Project Reveal, which encourages women to share stories of triumph and encouragement. Stacey is also the co-host of the morning show on radio station MY 105.3 WJLT, as well as being a fitness and Crossfit champion. Bit if you think that’s all that Stacey does that’s remarkable, you’d better sit down…
…because on top of all this, Stacey is mother to her oldest son Jude, and a set of triplets, Jillian, Alex and Reid.
So she’s got a lot on her plate, but still manages to stay on top of everything.
Including taking the time to film the moment that her oldest son meets his newly born triplet siblings. In this video, Jude gets to say hello for the first time to Jillian and Alex, Reid however came back from the hospital three days later. And if there’s any part of you that might be skeptical of this being the most adorable moment to capture, fire that part and put out a help wanted ad, because it’s lying to you.

Many are the clips online of children (usually first-born children) discovering they’re about to gain siblings and bursting into tears. Whether it’s because they feel like they’re about to be replaced or they don’t want to have to share toys or affection, some kids just don’t want to be told they’ve got a little brother or sister on the way. You have to hand it to Jude, who’s beaming at the thought of gaining not one, but three younger siblings all at once.
They sleep so soundly, fresh out of the oven.
These wee things are as new as they come, and they sleep so peacefully next to each other. I bet Reid is enjoying a little extra leg-room at the hospital now that he doesn’t have to share a womb with these two.
Jude is so curious about the littluns.
He helps his mom take their tiny little hats off and curiously feels their soft baby skin. He will make a great older brother one day, and his happiness to receive them is so heart-warming.

It’s incredible how among all the busyness and chaos in Stacey’s life she can be so attentive and dedicated a mother. The babies stir with Judes’ curious involvement, it’s their first interaction! You can sense that Jude wants to interact with them more, but at this stage of development they’re hardly aware of very much at all.
Realizing this, Jude lets them get their beauty rest.
“I want them to go night night” he says before leaving his new siblings to sleep. This heart-warming interaction is so adorable, and it would be amazing to see how these kids grow up together. Jude will surely be an excellent big brother to three much-loved triplets. And as for Stacey, she may have gone through a lot during her triplet pregnancy, but the real adventure of raising three kids with the same birthday begins here!
