This teen from Georgia lost both of his parents because of this infectious disease. Justin is clueless about why they got infected with the virus even they were doing extra precautions. He was asymptomatic while his parents experienced alarming symptoms.

“Their temperatures skyrocketed. They had headaches. Horrible cough. They felt very lazy.”

They called the ambulance as his parents were suffering from the symptoms. Unfortunately, his dad died last July 26 while his mom passed away four days after.

Imagine losing the people who are your inspirations and where you gain strength from. It’s excruciating.

But for Justin, even his situation is too painful, he wants to get through this for his parents.

“They never raised me to sit around and feel sorry for myself in any situation, and I just gotta keep going and pushing. I know they’re happy up there and that’s what makes me happy.”

On Twitter, he shared his childhood photos with his mom and dad alongside his heartfelt message for them. He also thanked everyone who’s been helping him get through this agony.

“Thank you all for your support. It means the world to me. I won’t be responding to text or calls at this time, but I will get back to all of you soon. Love you all,” he wrote.

Many people are extending their help to Justin that is why he expressed his appreciation to them. There is even a GoFundMe that has been created for him.

“Just seeing everybody all the people just donating and supporting like people from out of state people from different countries. It feels really good to know that I got people who have my back.”

When you read his letter for his parents, most of the words that he wrote were “thank you”. He wants to thank them for everything. His mother was a human resources executive while his dad was a musician. Ever since then, they were inspiring him to be a better person.

They were his role models. He also shared that they were very supportive when it comes to his passion, which is football.

“Since I started playing, we always talked about me playing in college and then playing in the pros.”
“They would have wanted me to keep going and get a scholarship and my schoolwork done,” he added.
Because of what happened to him, Justin is urging everyone to wear a mask.
“If you don’t wear it for yourself, then wear it for the next person. Because you could be saving that person’s life.”
