Dads are the best. Whether they’re affectionate, goofy, or lean more towards the strong, quiet type, you just know they’ll always pull through for their children at the end of the day. A doting father who’s always there for his family leaves a lasting mark on his children’s lives – one that tells them they’ll always have him in good times and bad.
And the good times? They’re always extraordinary.
Dads have a way of turning the most mundane moments into fun, magical ones.
Car rides are more fun, trips to the grocery store are suddenly adventures, afternoons at the park are always exciting. Because dads, protective as they are, don’t hesitate to show their childlike and fun-loving side. They just have a special way of connecting with their kids.
Take Josh Rinder. He and his daughter Audrey just love dancing together, so you can guess what usually happens when mom has to leave the house for a few errands.
They crank up the music and get crazy in the living room!
One feel-good performance of theirs was set to Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop The Feeling“, a happy, upbeat track featured in the DreamWorks movie “Trolls”.
Lucky for us, they decided to record their dance number and share it with the rest of the world.
First thing you’ll notice are the colors of their outfits.
Audrey looks absolutely charming in a bright pink sleeveless dress, and Josh, not the least bit afraid of colors and patterns, sports a pair of tri-colored argyle pants matched with a collared white shirt. The colors do match the vibe of the song and the overall mood set by the happy duo, don’t they?
This living room dance wasn’t just an impromptu number, either. You can tell they really prepared for it based on the choreography. They had a lot of pretty good moves, too. It was such a cute video that it gained over 14 million views on YouTube.
Not only that, Justin Timberlake couldn’t resist tweeting about it, too!
This delightful performance that went viral isn’t the first, either. Back in 2014, they showed off a fun routine to Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off“, a video that garnered over 12 million views.
In fact, they’ve got a ton of videos just doing fun stuff together!
Josh and Audrey share a closeness that we just know will make Audrey feel safe and loved through the years, especially the tougher ones she’ll eventually have to navigate.
While some parents say it’ll be extra challenging once their kids enter the teenage years, we have no doubt Josh and his wife will be a great support system for their daughter. There’s just so much happiness between this daddy-daughter duo that it’s safe to assume they live in a home that’s filled with a whole lot of love and laughter.
