For one family on a trip to Albania, the challenge of calming a toddler down before the plane took off proved to be quite the feat. The child was stressed and crying when someone quietly sang the lyrics of the song “Baby Shark” in an attempt to calm the little boy.

Another passenger who was sitting near the family heard this. It was Parikshit Balochi, a 33-year-old presenter for a Bollywood radio station in Dubai. He was also on board and upon hearing the other passenger singing the popular children’s song, he also sang it to catch the kid’s attention.

The only difference is Parikshit sang it loudly to invite the other passengers to join in.

Everyone on the plane started singing “Baby Shark” to help the family calm the toddler down.

“I’ve got no shame because I do public speaking as a radio host. So I started singing out loud, and everybody joined in,” Parikshit shared with Insider.

When everybody joined in the song, the radio presenter realized that he was actually witnessing a rare moment and decided to film it.

“As it was happening, I thought, ‘Wow, this is a cool moment. I should take out my phone.’ So I started recording but only got a few seconds of it,” he said.

He shared that the passengers were already singing for about 20 seconds when he started filming. Parikshit took the flight for a four-day backpacking trip to Albania and he was expecting a lot of unforgettable moments along the way. He did not expect to find one just before his plane took off.

Just before he turned his phone off, Parikshit was able to upload the nine-second video on his Instagram story and TikTok account.

Five hours later, upon landing in Albania, the radio presenter turned his phone on and was overwhelmed with the response to his video. He found that he had “120 TikTok notifications and a crazy amount of views.”

Parikshit eventually added an on-screen caption to the video that read, “Baby shark to the rescue,” and a second one that read, “Crying baby on the plane? No problem!” People online went crazy for the clips.

The TikTok video he uploaded has now reached a whopping 9.1 million views. Wow!

The video he uploaded showing the kindness of strangers has surely resonated in the hearts of many people online.

In reality, crying kids in public transportation usually make people annoyed, but the plane passengers proved that if you choose to be kind, it can make a huge difference for everyone.
