Everyone knows that life can be unpredictable – but it’s still never easy if your world gets flipped upside down.
One woman from Sydney, Australia thought she was going to have the best year of her life.
Amanda and her husband had been trying really hard to get pregnant for three years.
Finally, their dreams came true and they were able to conceive a baby.
Everything was exciting at first.
With a new family member arriving, the couple decided to move into a new house.
They planned every single detail. They even started remodeling the property.

Then, something terrible and unexpected happened.
During her 35th week of pregnancy, Amanda’s husband decided that he no longer wanted to be in her life.
He left her and their unborn child.
Understandably, Amanda started to get scared.
She was alone and the baby was coming soon. Plus, she had just settled into their new home.
She shared:
“The biggest thing was just the shock I guess because it wasn’t really what we planned or what I planned. It’s very difficult.”
Her biggest concern was raising her baby.
They’d put a lot of money into their new house.
She was scared that she wouldn’t be able to afford the home and raise her kid at the same time.
With no one else to turn to, Amanda reached out for help.
She decided to send a letter to radio hosts Jackie O and Kyle.
The two work for KIIS 1065 where they air a special segment called “Giveback”.
After hearing her story, they felt the need to help out the pregnant woman.
Soon after, the hosts started planning a big surprise for Amanda. They invited her to share her story on-air.
Hearing her struggles and concerns is just heartbreaking.
After Amanda was done sharing her story, the radio host asked her to face the video monitor.
There was a live video coming from her home.
A few seconds into the footage, Amanda saw a lot of gifts filling her home!
The cameraman was kind enough to show everything on-screen.
The gifts were given to help her with her new life.
Amanda received a cleaning service that’ll help keep her place neat and tidy for the next six months.
There’s also a meal delivery service to ensure that she’ll have food every single day for the next three months.
There were baby supplies, too.
The surprise didn’t end there.
The cameraman walked towards the oven. When he opened it, everyone was shocked.
Inside the oven was a stack of cash!
In total, there was $10,000 there!
After realizing that, Amanda was flooded with emotions. She was crying hard, unable to stop expressing how thankful she was.
Her story comes with so many lessons.
Although Amanda was abandoned at the most important part of her life, she didn’t stop hoping.
She didn’t give up on herself and the baby.
In fact, with the need to create a good future for her child, she found the courage to look for people to help her.
Luckily, she found ones with big hearts who wanted to lend a hand.
