When these parents went for an ultrasound. It was shock and awe for both as well as their doctor. And all they expected to see and hear was a heartbeat. One heartbeat.

Mom shared on her blog,

“We are thrilled and feel so blessed to be having quads, but we are also terrified and very nervous! Not only do we have to worry about how we are going to afford to raise four kids, but we must also do everything in our power to keep these babies from coming too early. Quadruplet pregnancies are very risky, and preterm labor is the norm.”

Imagine the stress and excitement!

The good news is that all four babies were born healthy and strong.

And at five months, already enjoy a good jam session with their Tio Ner. He is the quadruplets’ great uncle and he’s traveled all the way from Peru to play for his adorable fans.

Tio Ner even brought tiny guitars for the four tiny tots to play with. Who knows what hidden talents waiting to be unleashed are hiding in those little bodies? Mom says her dad’s side are gifted musicians.

She doesn’t mind having more guitarists in the family!

Look at how attentive and curious Lucia, Jude, Isaac, and Dahlia are! Play it, Tio Ner! And he’s really good too. That’s classical on nylon strings with each note seemingly portraying the amazon rain forest and Machu Picchu.

The richness of Peru’s landscape and culture can be heard in Tio Ner’s plucking.

Mom adds,

“… he’s a classical guitarist who believes that it’s important for young children to be able to explore an instrument—to climb on it, hit it, feel it, and pluck its strings—in order to hear the effects of their actions. The kids seem to discover something new every time they play with their guitarrita!”

What a cool uncle!

You can even hear one of the babies vocalizing, maybe trying to sing or figure out which part of the song is next. Tio Ner’s got you, little one! Keep trying to sing and don’t forget to experiment with your guitar.

The four little ones even look at each other as if to say, “That sounds so cool! What is it? Can we do that too?

Of course they can! We’re betting that Tio Ner’s willing to give free lessons for sure! Who knows? That band of four playing in that bar near you in the future maybe Issac, Lucia, Jude, and Dahlia.
