When a family has a new baby, you often hear about sibling jealousy. Sometimes the older child thinks they won’t get as much love once the baby is around. Other times, they feel greedy about the relationship with their parents and aren’t willing to share. Whatever the case, a pregnancy announcement can come as a shock to other children in the family— but in this case, the reaction was downright hilarious.
Eileen and Abraham Garcia, from West Bend, Wisconsin, are the parents of six beautiful children.
Eileen works in property management while Abraham serves as a maintenance man to support their six kids: Abraham Jr., 21; Adrien, 18; Aaron, 16; Allen, 14; Aden, 10; and Aiyana, 7.
Although the family is originally from the Bronx, they later moved to West Bend, where the following conversation took place.
In a video, recorded this past June, Eileen and Abraham reveal to their kids that they are pregnant with their 7th child— and their sons have the most priceless reaction.
Only three of their children are present for the announcement: Aaron, Allen, and Aden. It takes place in a car during a family car ride, while Abraham drives and Eileen records. Their older sons had often hassled the couple about having more children. ” They think we should have procedures done so that we can’t have kids anymore,” Eileen told Story Trender. Considering the boys’ opinions, the couple knew their reactions would be entertaining.
In the video, Abraham and Eileen ask the boys to put their phones down because they have an important announcement to make.
When they have the boys’ complete attention, Abraham simply asks them: “Y’all ready for number 7?”— and their reaction is absolutely priceless.
Aaron, the oldest son present, is sitting in the middle. Of the three, he is the most vocal and starts completely freaking out. “Oh my God! What is wrong with you?!” he yells at his parents. “You can’t just stop?! Just give up!” In one of the most hilarious lines of the entire video, he loudly shouts:
“Your factory is closed! Stop re-opening! OH MY GOD!”
While Aaron goes off on a rant of disbelief, his younger brothers groan loudly and cover their faces. “I was praying you weren’t going to say that!” Allen, on the right, exclaims. “How did I know this was coming?” the other brother laments sadly.
While their sons lose their minds, Eileen and Abraham simply record and giggle hysterically. “I had a feeling that would be their reaction,” Eileen later told StoryTrender. “The older boys had moaned the last two times we had a baby saying that we have too many and that we are too old to have any more children.”
“You guys are like 80! Get your tubes tied! Get your tubes tied! I can’t do this no more!”
Since being uploaded to YouTube last week, the boys’ hilarious rant has been viewed nearly 100,000 times.
“They are angry about it now and probably will be right until the baby is born,” Eileen said.
“When the baby arrives, I know for a fact that all of them will no longer care and will love their new sibling so much and will all help look after it.”
