It’s one thing for people to be ignorant and racist in their private thoughts or conversations but it’s an entirely different thing to push those thoughts on others who are attempting to peacefully live their lives.

Especially when there are children involved.

You might not agree with the choices people make or the way they choose to live their lives but that doesn’t give you the right to berate them or try to tell them what to do. So that’s why customers at a Locust, North Carolina diner flipped out when a woman started harassing a mother for adopting a child of a different race.

They just had no idea they were on the hidden camera show “What Would You Do?” which has actors play out astonishing and or abusive scenarios just to see how unsuspecting onlookers will react.

The onlookers took no time at all to give the instigating actress a piece of her mind.

This scenario starts with a white actress Justine and who brings her black adopted daughter Morgan to Old School Mill’s Fresh House for lunch. They are interrupted by another white actress, Rachel, who starts giving Justine the third degree.

“Is that your baby?” she asks.

Justine tells her that it is.

“Really?” Rachel replies is the most obnoxious way ever. “So, are you married to a black man?”

Justine tells her that she isn’t.

“So, you adopted her?” Rachels asks. “You adopted a black baby on purpose? Are you one of these white women who are trying to rescue all the black babies?”

“Excuse me?” Justine says shocked by Rachel’s boldness.

“I just don’t think you’re prepared to give her what she needs,” Justine explains.

So, that was the scenario unsuspecting diners were walking into.

The first group of women who overhear this conversation, start rolling their eyes at Rachel and mouthing “wow” in shock and disbelief. Finally, one of the women turns around to defend Justine.

“Why do you think it’s appropriate to speak to speak to her in that manner?” she asks looking pretty pissed off.

“The world is changing,”her friend chimes in. “Don’t you feel like we need to open ourselves up a little bit better than our square box?”

“Why should there be barriers to love of a child?” the first woman asks.

“You’re making everyone here feel very uncomfortable,” the second woman says.

These brave women had no problems whatsoever standing up for what they believed was right and to defend someone who was being bullied.

You could visibly tell that they were disturbed by the scenario and looked deeply upset by it.

Rachel then attempts to defend herself by saying she was just looking out for the child which makes the second lady just about completely lose it.

“This child can’t defend herself. She’s under 13,” she says getting loud with Rachel. “If she didn’t have those ears on I would call the police because this is a brutality to a little child whose done nothing.”

The lady is pretty much shaking with fury when the host comes out and tells her that she is on TV.

“You realize the greater good that comes out of this?” he asks her.

“Yes, I do. I saw it in the 60s and it was just horrible,” the woman says breaking down in tears. “I remember when the first black family moved in our neighborhood and we were the only family that welcomed them. And all these people we knew told us to get off the land.”

And that was just one of the scenarios. Watch the video below to see how others reacted to it.
