One teacher has found his own way of making the most of this very unusual time in education.

Brendan Jackson, a teacher in Newcastle, is being recognized for making some very entertaining and silly videos for his kindergarten class. Mr. Jackson still produces daily videos for his students during the current lockdown.

Principal Andrew Pryce praised Mr. Jackson for his unique way of engaging the kids during tough times. He mentioned that the performances helped to “bring much-needed smiles as they endured another period of remote learning.” – abc.net.au

When his school lockdown ended in August of 2020, Mr. Jackson was ready with the perfect celebratory video for his class.

Wearing a red wig, Mr. Jackson sang and danced as Anna, the character from Disney’s Frozen. His rendition of ‘For the First Time in Forever‘ from the movie Frozen was the perfect way to invite his students back to class.
