It’s tough being a teacher, so sometimes you have to lighten the mood.
Then again, sometimes it’s necessary to put your foot down in a memorable way.
These 10 teachers found creative ways to make lessons stick – and we’re pretty sure their students never forgot these moments.
1. History in the making
On the first week of school, this history teacher showed up in a medieval outfit.
How cool is that sword?
Do you think his students remembered enough to pass the test?
2. Laying in wait
When this teacher got word that one of his students was in the bathroom smoking he patiently waited outside the door so he can take her right to the principal to get suspended.
We’re pretty sure that student either broke his habit or kept it out of school.
We’d be mortified.
3. Nailed it
His teacher knows his strengths and weaknesses. And that’s why he’s sticking to teaching, not drawing.
Then again, sometimes 1000 words are worth more than a picture.
4. Calculator rental policy
Their teacher was tired of having their calculators stolen. So this is what they did.
We’re pretty sure no one loaded this into their backpack and accidentally took it home! Or if they did, they certainly got a workout.
5. Iron grader
My lecturer wears mask to hide his expression so students wouldn’t get nervous when hes giving marks 😅😎 pic.twitter.com/rvB1Ml5eZz

Their teacher put on this mask while he graded their papers. This way, they won’t see his face and reactions while he checked their papers.
To be honest, that’s a pretty nice way to spare students the agony of wondering what’s going on up at the front desk.
6. He knows when you’re texting
He knows your crotch isn’t funny. In fact, most teachers can tell when you’re texting in class. It’s not that hard.
But we’re not sure this would be enough to convince most students to put down their devices.
7. Making the convincing argument
When your old high school has a ‘Meme Day’ for homecoming and the science teacher gets into it.
It’s great when teachers find ways to relate to their students and manage to inspire them to learn more.
This “meme” may be funny but it’s still going to get the students’ minds rolling.
8. Late isn’t great
Guess you better learn to hand in your assignments on time in this classroom.
We think being flexible is a good thing, but sometimes you have to learn the hard way.
9. Art appreciation
This is how this art teacher introduces different artists to his students. It’s a little grim, but definitely memorable!
10. She gets it
This, given to my daughter and her y6 classmates ahead of Sats on Monday, is a delight. Wish all teachers prepared for exams like he @AllSaintsBheath pic.twitter.com/hpwvnM5REY

The best way to prepare for a big day is to take care of yourself. It’s so nice to see a teacher who really gets it.
