cats friendship little girl
Ivy is just like any other toddler.
This little girl lives in her own little world while still trying to explore that big world outside.
Her innocence is only matched by that curiosity common for kids her age.
She does love her baby doll. And since toddlers imitate almost everything they see, Ivy does what her mom does with her. Sing her baby to sleep!
Ivy even wraps her baby to protect her from the cold!
She sits on the floor wearing a onesie as mom coaxes her to sing and rock her baby to sleep.
Without hesitating, Ivy starts singing “Rockabye baby” complete with toddler babble and gibberish.
It’s really cute!
These pint sized humans have been exposed to music since they’ve been inside mama’s belly.
Even mom’s heartbeat counts as music.
But it’s when they enter that toddler stage that they try to start singing.
Toddlers like to experiment with their voices so throwing in a few notes here and there, though often off key, adds to their hilarity and innocence.
One viewer loved Ivy’s singing so much that she left a comment saying,
“awww… 💗 Thank you for sharing such a precious little moment with Us. Ivy has such a good ear. She was right on key. 😇 Good Job Ivy! Yay! 🥰”
Ivy’s rendition is great! She changed the lyrics a bit but the original melody is still there!
The uploader is mom, Jessa Seewald, who also says that since Ivy’s dad sings to her while rocking her to sleep, Ivy picked up the same habit for her doll.
It is at this stage that these kids are like sponges, absorbing all the sensations through their five senses.
Now pair that with their infinite curiosity and you have the makings of a tiny human with tons of energy. Good luck!
Now the wonderful part of toddlers singing and enjoying music is that it helps them build their coordination and develop their vocabulary.
It’s like a package deal minus the work. So let them babble and sing their little hearts out. Encourage them to discover tunes and pronounce new words the fun way.
Ivy is a smart little girl too. She seems to grasp the concept of nurturing and protecting with the way she holds her doll.
She’s going to be an amazing mom someday that’s for sure.
How about getting her toy instruments?
It will be noisy sure but there might be a gift hiding underneath that toddler frame of hers just waiting to be unleashed.
What to expect says,
“With time, your future superstar will start to sing with a steady beat and even throw in coordinated movements. Encourage his sense of rhythm by tapping the beat with your foot while you sing and by chanting simple, rhythmic nursery rhymes.”
And you know what? That’s what Jessa is doing with Ivy.
Great moms raise wonderful daughters.
Those daughters will raise their daughters the same way. And that’s just wonderful.
