She might still be a baby, just she already has a terrific sense of humor. :)

Our kids are always watching. Even when they think they aren’t – they are!

Kids watching their parents and guardians in their life is how they learn to move, act and mimic the things they see. The funny part about it, however, is that kids always seem to pick up on the things that we DON’T want them to see!

If you’ve ever slipped up with language in front of a kid, it will come back to bite you.

Said a bad word but thought the kids didn’t hear you? Wrong. Think again. They absolutely did. They are just going to wait until they are at school to say it to their teacher’s face. That’s just how the cookie crumbles.

Science gives us a bit of an explanation as to why and when kids begin to mimic the adults in their life.

The why behind it is rather simple. Explore your mind says:

This almost instinctive behavior in humans (and in other animals) serves for more than just learning: imitating also creates a sense of belonging, and it helps humans identify themselves as part of groups.

Basically, your kids just want to be like the adults around them and belong to the group. This behavior starts super young, too:

Between 19 and 24 months, children begin to copy a lot of things they see in others. They imitate their parents, their older siblings, and those they can see on TV. They do it to learn, but also to be the same as others and to feel part of a social group.

Knowing that, we can easily see how this little girl got so famous from mimicking her grandpa!

A recent video has captured a moment of mimicking in hilarious fashion.

Since then, it has already garnered nearly a million views!

Once you see it for yourself, you won’t be able to hold in your laughter.

In the video, we see a little girl walking around the living room with her mom filming.

In the little girl’s hand is a walking cane! She had apparently grabbed one of her grandpas and was about to put on a show for the whole family to watch.

With some coaxing from her mom, the little girl showed what she had picked up from watching “g-pa” walk.

The girl is obviously in her toddler years and is just getting the basics of walking down.

For little kids learning to walk, getting one foot in front of the other is usually tough enough. For this adorable little girl, copying her grandpa was all she cared about! Instead of walking with an upright and wobbly toddler gait like most kids her age do, she began a striking impersonation.

Leaning over on her cane and walking with wobbly knees, this little girl gives an impeccable performance of her “g-pa”!

Amid laughter and crying, the little girl knows she is the absolute center of attention here.

If you needed to see how close she was to actually impersonating her grandpa, just look to the left! He is walking with his own cane in hand, identical to the little girl!
