Twins in the family means double the trouble but also double the fun.

In fact, when you’re around twins, every day is basically twice as eventful as before, and here are just a few of the reasons why:
1. Making messes is easier to get away with.
If something crazy happens, one twin can just blame it on the other one. Although, when both twins are covered in paint, there is no getting away with it. Decorating the couch was definitely a team effort in this case!
2. They look alike and still end up on different sides of the Force.
One supports the dark side and the other, the Rebel Alliance. Lines in the sand have been drawn. One twin is on Team Darth Vader and the other is on Team Yoda. Who will win out in the end?
3. There are two singing vocalists instead of one.
It’s practically a choir. Every time one starts crying, the other quickly joins in too. There is nothing Dad enjoys more than to be serenaded by his two little angels.
4. Figuring out which is which isn’t always easy.
It’s especially true when the twins are young and haven’t blossomed into their full adult personalities yet. Luckily, this family discovered an ingenious solution. They simply label them one and two!
5. They come in all sorts of shapes and sizes.
You probably thought that we were only going to include people on this list. However, twins are just as common in the animal world as they are in the human world. These two cute cats are just one example of that.
6. Everything comes crashing down twice as hard.
This photo sums up 2020 pretty nicely. We can hope and pray that everything goes right, but in the end, there is a lot that is out of our control. Yet, these two goofballs just continue smiling and pretending that everything is a-okay anyway!

7. Twins are like a two-for-one deal.
You go to the store thinking that you are only going to come home with one box of Oreos. Then you see the super sale going on. It’s like double the amount of sweetness for the same price. What is a person supposed to do?
8. There is always someone around to roughhouse with.
It’s one of the best parts of being a twin. Instead of taking all of that anger out on other students in the schoolyard, they have each other to beat up on instead. Of course, it’s all done out of pure love.

9. Getting a good baby picture is even more challenging.
It’s always difficult to get a baby to look at a camera and behave. However, trying to get two to behave at the same time is like asking for a miracle. It doesn’t matter how genetically similar they might be.

10. There is always competition for who looks the best.
Getting ready for school involves a lot of styling and prep-work. Each twin will often try to one-up the other. After all, getting that perfect gelled-hair look isn’t easy to do.
11. There is always someone around to relive old memories with.
Twins have it made in that regard. If they want to relive their childhood years, it’s easily achievable. Since they both share so many similarities already, it likely won’t take a lot of work to convince each other that it’s a good idea.

12. Major life events happen in synchronicity.
When one twin loses a tooth, they both lose a tooth… in the exact same spot! Sure, things don’t always play out like this. However, when they do, it’s pretty cool.
13. Christmas time is a lot more interesting.
Dealing with one crying baby is a fun challenge for Santa. Dealing with two is a nightmare. After this encounter, he is heading straight to his sleigh and immediately escaping back to the North Pole.

14. Coordinating costumes becomes a regular occurrence.
From coordinating regular outfits to coordinating hilarious Halloween costumes, there are all sorts of cool things that you can do. Even matching tattoos is a real possibility. Some twins definitely take it more seriously than others.

15. Lastly, if you aren’t a twin currently, don’t worry, there are still options.
You don’t have to be all jealous of people who do have twins. Just do what this guy did instead. Fake it until you make it. Just pretend. None of your classmates will ever even notice!

The odds of having twins are only estimated to be around 1 in 250, but that doesn’t mean that it’s impossible either. No prospective parent ever expects to end up with twins, however, it happens around the world every day!
There is no reason to get all stressed out about it though. As long as you are prepared to rip out double the amount of hair out as normal, you will likely do just fine!
