It is so refreshing to see kids enjoy the music that made men back in the day.

I’m talking about heavy metal. Rock. The head banging type of music that got boys wanting to be as bad as they could be.

See, this two year old knows his stuff. No nursery rhymes for this little dude. Give him Iron Maiden!

Dad Andreas Fensholm shared this short clip of his mini me rocking out to “Two minutes to midnight“.

The intro is a guitar riff that already has the listener doing a little headbang before the drums come in for a full on rock out session.

The lyrics aren’t exactly something you’d normally sing to a toddler, but he’s sure found his way to dancing to it.

Dad even asks his son if he wants some heavy metal.

To which the child agrees.

His little rock out act got him over 1.2 million views though. Andreas must be so proud of his boy.

Cue AC/DC’s “For those about to rock (We salute you)“.

In the film, School of Rock, Jack Black plays Dewey Finn, an amateur rock enthusiast, who slyly takes up his friend’s job by posing as a substitute teacher.

He’s in no way qualified for it, so he instead starts training his students to form a band.

This toddler rocking out to Iron Maiden was two in this video.

Pretty sure there’s a school out there that would bring out the rock star in your kid.

Paul F. felt the same way in the comments saying,

“Well this lil fella would be 14 years old now and hopefully he’s still diggin the Maiden… Up the Irons!!!”

Seeing as dad is a huge metal fan, it would follow that he got his son a guitar or a drum set. Or both.

His kid is enjoying a song about the Doomsday Clock. Song Facts has the info,

“… created in 1947 by the magazine Bulletin Of Atomic Sciences. It was set at 7 minutes to midnight, indicating that due to the threat of nuclear war, the world was running out of time. As tensions escalated over the years, the clock was moved forward, but has been set back several times as treaties are signed and the threat decreases. In 1958, the United States and Soviet Union were both testing hydrogen bombs, and the clock was moved up to 11:58 – the closest it ever got to midnight.”

Now that is so rock and roll.

Go ahead and listen to the song.

Turn the volume up and be like this kid. Let go and let the rock gods take over!

Check out this toddler’s rocking dance below!
