The King of Pop is as timeless and influential today as he was the previous decades. Michael Jackson has arguably surpassed Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Madonna and many more stars in terms of influence and timelessness. From the hats, to the glittery jackets and gloves, to the iconic dance moves, no one has ever made an impact in the world of music as Michael did.
It is the year 2020 and there are still people all over the world, young and old, who dress and even dance like Michael Jackson. And if you claim to have never once tried impersonating him then you are a liar.
Everyone has moved, sang, dressed, or danced like MJ at some point.
Well this kid is not ashamed of impersonating the King of Pop. Not even close. The moment he is announced, he struts on stage in the classic black and white Billie Jean look of Michael Jackson. He’s got a white glove on his right hand and when the music starts, he goes in to the classic gyrate and step of “Billie Jean”. The audience already loves it.
Oh he’s definitely got the moves copied down to perfection.
Loafers and white socks for this mini-Mike and he is strutting! He spins and throws his hat away and even does the whole combing of the hair act that MJ used to do. This kid’s footwork is smooth!
For every strut and spin, you can see him mouthing the words, and really, who doesn’t when “being” Michael Jackson?
The song was released in 1983 and is from the 1982 album Thriller.
38 years later and Billie Jean is still a crowd favorite. This kid is as hypnotic as Mike was. How many hours and days and weeks must he have spent just wanting to be MJ? It must have been a lot. He isn’t making any mistakes and what he is is passionate. He wants to make MJ proud and we’re sure he is doing a fine job.
He really did his homework.
This guy’s got nearly 12.5 million views and that is true testament to the magic of Michael Jackson to this day. Even viewers have to agree with that.
“Is there anybody on the planet Earth that has not been influenced by Michael Jackson? I do not think so, He has got to be the most influential music ,dancer, singer of all time no doubt! I miss him. Awesome job!”
Billie Jean is not complete without the Moonwalk and he doesn’t disappoint.
Remember Motown 25: Yesterday, Today, Forever? This was the first time fans got to see the legendary Moonwalk live. This was in 1983 during NBC’s TV Special. It was the defining moment that gave birth to Michael and Billie Jean.
This set the stage for the King of Pop and his future.
This kid is just one out of many new Michael Jackson fans out there. It is a legacy that will never die and will continue to spawn new videos of people trying their gloved hand at MJ and his iconic styles.
The crowd’s reaction says it all and with 44k likes…
