Once in a while, we witness unique pregnancy announcements, but they all are endearing each and every time.
Couples who learn about their pregnancy think of various creative ways to surprise their families with the good news.
One woman decided to surprise her grandma with her pregnancy.
It was a typical day at a senior facility, and one lady was having a meal with her grandmother and her friend. In the middle of the seemingly usual get-together, the lady passed a note to her grandma while her friend watched.
“What is this?” she asked.
The senior citizen carefully opened the note, probably expecting something different. But, it was indeed a one-of-a-kind story captured on that piece of paper.
Her granddaughter was having a baby!
As it turned out, the granddaughter was pregnant and she wanted to share this with her grandma. The paper she gave was actually an ultrasound image of her unborn child.
Once the grandma saw the picture, she immediately was surprised and smiled widely at the news, clueless there was more.
“Is this yours?” the old woman gleefully confirmed.
The granddaughter happily exclaimed that it was hers! The elderly woman could not believe her eyes and kept on staring at the small picture in her hand.
“Wow! Exciting!”, she said and passed the paper to her friend who was equally surprised.
But wait, that is not the end of the surprise yet.
The senior citizen thought that there was nothing better than the amazing news she just received. But, as it turned out, there was more incredible news to tell to this happy elderly gal.
And her granddaughter had been waiting for this moment to share the best news with her grandma. After giving the first photo, she also gave her grandma another ultrasound image and another!
That’s when she dropped the bomb.
Her grandma said:
“Oh, what wonderful parents you would be…”
To which the granddaughter ended with:
“To three of them.”
The elderly woman’s jaw dropped at the newest development. Her granddaughter was having triplets!
The woman could not help but laugh at her grandmother’s reaction. She actually thought her granddaughter is kidding her.
And her friend’s reaction even adds to the surprise, much to the delight of the woman announcing her multiple pregnancies. Wow!
The two elderly women could not speak for a few moments after the incredible news.
If this happened to you, would you be able to speak? It absolutely surprised the two senior citizens, and this is absolutely understandable. You don’t get to be a great-grandma every day, and much to her surprise, she was about to have three great-grandchildren in just a few months!
This is definitely a wonderful moment, and these old ladies were caught off guard by such a beautiful threefold surprise.
“Oh, my gosh. How exciting!”, the future great-grandmother to triplets said. Her face says it all. She is one perplexed grandma, but she definitely is happy.
