To succeed in the challenge, all the participants need to do is follow the steps written into the song whose chorus goes like this:
“Go’n and do the two-step, then cowboy boogie. Grab your sweetheart and spin out with ’em. Do the hoedown and get into it. Take it to the left now and dip with it. Go’n throw down, take a sip with it. Now lean back, put your hips in it. Let’s have some fun.”

This father-daughter team is seen smiling through the entire dance. The song, which already has a great vibe, is made even more special by these two.
Though many did “The Grit” dance challenge and have become viral in their own right, there is something special about this two. Perhaps, it is because they are both performing and bonding at the same time. The love between them is as electric as the song’s beats.

Their dance steps are on point. They do not miss a beat. However, what makes their routine more enjoyable is the extra effort they made. For example, since the song is categorized as country-pop, the girl dressed the part. She put on a cute cowgirl outfit.
