Twin Baby Boys Have An Adorable Conversation
I have no clue what they are saying, but it is hilarious to watch.

Twins are a fascinating anomaly of life. Sharing a womb with someone can bond you to them in more ways than just sharing a birthday. Twins can be identical (monozygotic) or fraternal/non-identical (dizygotic), but either way their relationship can sometimes seem to take on an almost supernatural level of connection. It may be nature, a biological bond manifested in the identical or similar genetics a pair of twins share. It may even be nurture, the psychological influence on two people who have spent nearly almost every formative minute together.

Either way, twins can seem to have a mental link that other types of siblings sometimes lack.

This adorable clip of two baby twins, Sam and Ren shows how even before language is mastered (or learnt at all!) their cognitive link is strong!

While it’s not uncommon for kids to speak before they have actually learnt any words, these twins seem to be genuinely communicating with each other. Granted their conversation may be a little repetitive… but what do you expect from a group of infants! What are they going to talk about if not their own feet?

The most adorable part has to be the “jokes”.

I don’t know what the baby on the left is saying, but what ever it is, the baby on the right finds it pretty funny! I mean, what they’re saying is “Dadadada”, but whatever that means in Twinese, remains a mystery. The baby on the left will go on a long rant, there will be a pause, then the other baby will burst out laughing as if the punchline just took a second to hit.

You just have to hear the most adorable laugh ever!

And they’re both quite the jokesters!

While the baby on the left is all about the punchlines, the baby on the right seems to prefer physical comedy. He has one joke in particular, which we’ll refer to as the “foot joke” involves him lifting his foot as high as possible, much to his brother’s enjoyment.

And the banter is top-notch!

Here’s a highlight of their conversation:

Baby 1: Dada

Baby 2: Dadadadada Dada

Baby 1: …Da!

Now that’s comedy! I can’t wait for these two to get their own stand-up act. Specifically, I can’t wait for them to translate what must be a hilarious act into English for the rest of us to enjoy!

When they begin mimicking each other’s actions it reinforces that this is not just meaningless yammering…

…but a conversation between the two twins. They copy each other’s gestures and movements, and it’s a two-way chat you just have to watch to believe. Plus their laughter is enough to completely melt your heart. They’re not just making noises for each other’s entertainment, but they’re learning from each other. This is undoubtedly the kind of formative interaction that leads twins to bond so intrinsically.

As they chit-chat, their conversation become increasingly animated.

Their gestures become more elaborate and soon their talk becomes more interpretive dance than water-cooler convo. I just wish I could be half as entertained by any interactions as much as these two ultra-cute twins are by each other. Somebody give these guys their own daytime television show already!
